Facebook needed VC funding to expand. Saverin (who was still in New York while Zuck moved the HQ to SF) was being obstinate and blocking it. The agreement allowed them to go around Saverin and get that funding.

Fun fact. He did not deny acting like what was portrayed in that scene when interviewed.

If you have ever seen interviews with her, she clearly has a personality disorder. Sad her ex husband had to be the victim of it.

Modern sanitation has been even more important than vaccines. It had to have been terrifying not knowing whether your family would die from one winter to the next.

Go to Quebec. New England's French heritage has long faded, and the Quebecois immigrants have been integrated for nearly three generations.
Also, Quebec City is one of the hidden jewels of North America, and is only a five and a half hour drive from Manchester. You will love it.

You want to go back to asylum's? Really? Also, they were in the process of closing when he was elected. Hyperbole that he waved his hand and cut funding for them is ridiculous.

Yeah, honestly even if Consolidated cost more I still would have switched due to much better upload speeds, plus how Comcast has treated me over the years.
Then after switching we received communications from Comcast for months that we needed to return our equipment, despite not having any. It took several phone calls for them to stop.

CC "Fidium" offers 1000 symmetrical for $70/month. Also, FTTH service always offers better latency, real world speeds, and reliability that DOCSIS or cellular. So, if you have it available, I do recommend it.

Yeah, getting raked over the coals is never fun. Was thrilled when then announced fiber to my place. And I do not consider cellular a real option even if I had good signal near my house.
I just wish Consolidated Communications partnered with YTTV or Fubo instead of DirectTV (bleh) for streaming. Would be cool to bundle them, or at least get some sort of discount.

I was paying $100/month for 200MB, and I did not even have the xfinity router. Called multiple times and they would not budge. Then last year Consolidated brought Fiber to my road. Best move ever.

Start assaulting the wacky things he says and point out why his policies will suck. Stop calling everyone who disagrees with you "fascist" because it does little besides promote ignorance.

I mean, the Soviet Union and Cuba did a great deal more (and then there is Spanish colonialism and the lack of creating domestic institutions), but you cannot blame every problem on external factors.

Within a decade we are going to start to see developed nations withdraw from the Geneva Convention on refugees. There's no easy answers, as I find it impossible to blame the migrants, but this problem is just going to get worse, and so far the reaction of politicians has been to pretend it isn't a problem.

90%+ are economic migrants. Southern and Central America has suffered under overpopulation, corruption, and failed economies for so long that even working a menial job in the US is a better option. Then migrants and smugglers started discovering if you just claim asylum it is easier to get into the country.
