Maine is holding on tight to it’s culture of being a safe place. It’s probably why we have such a distaste from people from away. Especially Massachusetts lol. Mainers secretly know that moving north is the future

So many people are “working” from home. Customer service has tanked. Maybe it’s the holidays but I’ve been trying to deal with an insurance company for two weeks without success. It’s almost laughable. I’d say when the economy tanks this next summer it will be the businesses that actually are working that will survive. People getting paid to be home will have to learn the hard way.

Your anger is misguided in my opinion. As a child growing up in Maine there were few places we could swim that weren’t heavily polluted. Industry here just openly dumped chemicals straight into the water sheds. Vehicles belched visible pollution like you can’t imagine. I watched the previous generation make up nifty ways to dump used motor oil straight into the ground. We had large open pits where everything was thrown in together, household trash along with construction debris. I’m pretty proud of of how much better our generation has left the environment for you. Your welcome little one

I’m trying to rekey a trunk lock from a 1968 ford falcon. I removed the bezel that the lock cylinder is in but supposedly you need a working key to remove the cylinder from the bezel

I might be heading that way, I’ve seen the tools are available and YouTube is a great resource. I hate to bugger the lock though since some of the parts are becoming unobtainium

There are some well organized off roading groups in Maine. Check them out. Reddit is full of millennial gamer folk who don’t really venture off their couches, so take the responses here with a grain of salt.
