How about we fix the system so that dying people can access care that allows a comfortable, natural death without finances being a factor? That's death with dignity IMO.

Have you looked into Amtrak's Down Easter train? It leaves from Boston's North Station and could get you within 15-30 minutes of Hampton. Some car rentals do drop off service so that might be a workable option for you. And any of those towns served by the Down Easter would be more navigable than driving out of Boston.

Not in Boston but 3rd Avenue in Burlington has restaurants and a restaurant/bowling alley place that might be good for a group. The area is designed to be pedestrian friendly so you could get dropped off & go to a couple of different places.

And the Burren in Somerville is a great place for a non-touristy evening.

Tune-up please. For more reasons than you'd want me to list here, I need the snow to be minimal.

I'd go with some sort of breathing issue if you can get documentation for it.--like, asthma that is triggered by the fumes in a laundromat kind of thing. If you claim anything that involves strength or mobility your neighbors will be giving you side eye when you haul in your groceries or climb stairs.

There's enough evidence showing that many of the people who choose assisted dying are doing so because of financial concerns or because of burden of care to make me believe that we need to fix that first.
A natural death does not have to be painful suffering.
