my room mate is a hard core pothead. first thing i hear in the morning is her tapping her bowl out on her nightstand and/or end table to pack a new one. we drive to work and she hits her one-hitter four or five times. i honestly do not know the last time i saw her completely sober...

short story, long... she made a recent trip to a recreationally legal state and made a stop at a dispensary for some edibles. on the way home she stops at her pothead sisters place and they make a couple of trades, one of which was for an Almond Weed candy bar. think almond joy, two little coconut/almond/chocolate concoction.

she gets home, smokes some more, and then eats one of the two AW bars in the package.

two hours later she is FUCKED up. i've never seen her this high. she can barely walk.

i pick up the AW package. it lists the total THC content as 300mg...

she took 150mg, while also occasionally hitting her bowl. her bites of the remaining bar were much smaller.

went to high school in Bergen county(don bosco) but traffic isn't much better in smaller cities...

living in Milwaukee for the last couple decades, my current commute is 19 miles and takes between an hour and an hour and fifteen minutes each way. if I did the same drive outside of rush hour? ~25 minutes.

for a city of 500k people. christ, a good portion of my commute is eight lanes wide.
