Why have a goal at all? Just read for the joy of it. Putting a target on it just puts you under unnecessary pressure.

Reply to Book choosing anxiety by sburg88
When I used to read on Kindle, I would read in order of purchase. With physical books, I take a quick glance and just pick within 5 or 10 seconds! I think you’re taking it quite seriously, reading is supposed to be fun so make the choosing of next reads fun too!

I wish I could love the library but my local one doesn’t have many books on the shelf to look at and you’ve to generally order them in and you’ve no way of knowing when you’ll get it and I think I’m too impatient to wait once I’ve decided that I want to read something!

I’ve loads of books to read but one of my most favourite things to do is browse in a bookshop. There are worse things to spend my money on and if I enjoy it, where’s the harm!
I don’t have a lot of space at home so I tend to only keep the books I really enjoyed and usually once I’ve read them, I pass them on.

Reply to Buy books or borrow from library? by ladyluckyy777
Libraries are a wonderful asset but as I’m so impatient, I tend to opt for buying books as I want to read it quicker than the library allows

I’m going to go against the posts here but I really enjoy her books, they’re entertaining to me and I’ve enjoyed the ones I’ve read so far.

Reply to Am I the only one who do not get used to ebook and audiobook? by PennyPannaCotta
I think with Kindle, I can't retain the name of what I'm reading and the synopsis so I've to Screenshot what it's about.. One of the main reasons why I switched back to physical books!
