Anything with a metal-plastic junction. Like many coffee pots. They expand unevenly, which will degrade fit.

Reply to WIRED computer mouse. I'm particularly interested in one with a cable that will not fray. They seem to fray very shortly after I get them. I want the cable to be like a quarter of an inch thick. I don't care if the thing weighs 5 lbs. My budget is $200. by TheJawsofIce
My tech office shared workstations use SteelSeries Sensei Laser Gaming Mouse. Bombproof, high precision, ergonomic. Fabric cable housing. Using one about five years old, never think about it.

Specifically, the cheaper HDPE "cloudy" Nalgene bottles are BIFL. The clear ones will punch through if you drop em just right. HDPE bottles will bounce. Also widely agreed to be 100% food safe.

Seems very likely IKEA is selling the absolute minimum thickness to soak up their hardening treatment. Which means sanding it all out is going to be a bad time.

For skillets consider cast iron. Lodge is a fine supplier there.

They're also at risk of some Twitter exec just changing the damn results but we have to read about them anyway.

Reply to How do I resolve a ceiling fan and light fixture that are controlled by same switches. by Madams135
You can get a smart bulbs (plus hub? idk) that have stick-on or in-wall wireless switches that mimic wall switches. Then you could probably open the existing switch box and wire the light to be always "hot" and control with wireless. (If they're in series, that won't work without new wiring.) Hire someone if that seems complicated.
