"Since starting as CEO in June 2021, Boyd has, by her accounting, attended 150 stakeholder meetings and has spoken at more than 50 events. She has diversified programming and brought 55 nights of entertainment to Columbia’s main lakefront. She beat her budget by $10 million, distributed federal funds to save jobs, and has been a powerful voice for inclusion and equity, writing lengthy essays and promoting dialogue. "

Again, why are they trying to fire her?

I'm not up on the CA drama, why don't they like Lakey Boyd? The article says she has "widespread support... from association employees and community leaders."

Seems like someone you should keep around

I'm in a two-bedroom apartment in Ellicott City. Our apartment complex pays for the water and trash and they add about $35/month to our rent bill.

Do they show you your usage?

If you need to be reminded how government works, yeah I can do that for you.

Baltimore is a severely broken city, how it functions at the moment isn't an argument for lower taxes, it's an argument for rooting out corruption.

It's weird that Republicans only want to do that when it's a corrupt Democrat. Keep that same energy for corrupt Republicans.

Taxes pay for things like roads, schools, police, etc.

If we cut taxes how will he fight crime and get our schools "back on track"? I'd rather have well maintained roads, have you driven in Baltimore lately?

If we cut taxes, that's less money for the schools, so how will they get on track with less?

Make it make sense
