I had no comment about that. My entire comment was about the public schools having locks on their bathrooms. Just amazing to me.

Fascinating. Private schools don’t have locks on the bathroom…..absolutely fascinating.

They post the times and locations of these. So should be easy to find out if they had an active operation in that area last night.

This is quite an ignorant comment. Christmas is first and foremost a religious holiday to many. Imagine mocking Hanukkah or Kwanza in the same manner. Try going through life with a bit more respect for others.

Ummmm….you obviously haven’t driven down Stevens Forest Rd since Black Friday.
And let’s not forget Merriweather and the Symphony of lights.

Thanks!

The actual website for Toys for Tots is a hot mess and unusable for determining the location of TFT drop off locations. Anyone know a better source of info for finding TFT drop off locations? Or anyone know of any locations in or near Columbia?

They still need a crosswalk at Loring and Oakland Mills. That has always been a dangerous intersection. So they didn’t completely fix OMR.

Right. Republic is what we have not a democracy. The word slip that people use on this issue is annoying at least and is more likely to be nefarious. This country is not founded on the majority determining the rights of the minority: that would be a direct democracy and honestly what one of the two major parties would live to see. The Founding fathers set us up as a Republic to protect the rights of the minority because they knew the result of mob rule and it’s never pretty.

And as far as shoving issues down people’s throats. Let’s start with abortion on the Republican side and gun rights on the Democrat side. So sorry, but there are many authoritarians all too happy to gavage citizens with their garbage.

Just like elections, words matter. Use the correct ones.
And actually, those that advocate for getting rid of the filibuster in Congress for their pet issues are doing just that.

All campaign signs are annoying, not just the ones that you are upset about because they don’t wear the same color political jersey as you.
Elections are just popularity contests now; no different than American Idol. None of these useless windbags that got elected actually care about doing work. They only care about shoving their ideology down the throats of the other half of the country that lost.

Wrong. It can be done safely. Indoor/outdoor fryers work just fine.

Get your turkey from ShoNuff Turkeys in Maple Lawn, right off 29 just south of Columbia.
As far as frying, I buy a large container of peanut oil from BJs and I used the indoor/outdoor electric fryer from Butterball. It’s well worth the money. Takes about 3-4 minutes per pound.

Does he even need Useless Joe’s help? There is no chance in Hades that Cox can win. The White House admin staff should just put Joe to bed early on Election Night. He can only do harm at this point.
Also, no wonder the Dems are going to get swept out of power on Tuesday. They can’t even read a map. Crownsville is not Columbia LOL.

Farewell Rd up through Stevens Forest Rd and down Camelback Rd in Oakland Mills is pretty decent for ToT.

Well when you post your signs on public property and public right of way, they get removed. Saw the county doing their job the other day by cleaning up the trash on the side of 29; they had a bunch of election signs going right in the trash where they belong.

29 south, which would be your main route to MoCo and DC, during the week is not a very fun commute. Did it for years to Bethesda and Silver Spring and I got tired of it very quickly.
