In Batman Beyond's case, time travel. Static is a member of the Justice League during the time period of Batman Beyond. There were crossover episodes with both Static Shock and Justice League Unlimited.

The audio compression was the one main drawback to the Gamecube port. However I didn't really mind missing Pinta's quest, and all the other changes for the port were good imo. The bounties especially were a nice touch.

You could always just pause the game as soon as you heard your Dreamcast starting to screech.

The Gamecube port went a long way towards addressing that.

Fantastic, one of my favorite JRPGs ever. I love the characters, the design, the music. It's a pretty straight forward story but handled so well.

Certain events happened in Clone High that made him the bitter character we see in Scrubs.

Also of note, the janitor in Clone High was voiced by Neil Flynn, aka the janitor in Scrubs. Bill Lawrence once confirmed(or joked) that they were the same character.

There are people who upgrade their GPU's every other year, but I doubt it's a majority.

Diablo 3's expansion was the best time for me. The whole endgame process of grinding bounties, rifts, greater rifts, and all the gear was really fun for me.
But with 4 having battle passes, I'm expecting the worst.

Reply to People who play MMOS, be it DPS, Healer, or Tank what is something you constantly wish the other roles would do? by EndorDerDragonKing
This mainly comes as a healer: Learn the mechanics of the fights, and pay attention to what's going around you. So many people just focus on whatever their rotation is, usually trying to squeeze out just a little more extra dps. And then they find themselves on fire, falling off a cliff, missing an interrupt, whatever.
Focus on staying alive. You can't heal, tank, or dps if you're dead. The nitty gritty of optimized shit doesn't come into play unless you're doing the highest end-game progression type of stuff.

A lot of people replay linear games. And so long as enough people love them more than non-linear alternatives, they'll continue to be worth their price.

>Why would you need more than a few seconds to see if the animation is shit or not?
To answer that: Why did you watch season 7 of Clone Wars if you already wrote the show off as being shit? Seems like you should've wrote off the whole show if a few seconds was all you needed to determine quality.

It's still kind of crap, especially if spoilers are a concern. Imagine if House of Dragons pulled that, where one country was discussing new weekly episodes while another didn't get to watch anything until after the whole season released.

My point is that it's stupid to judge something after watching all of a few seconds of it. You've given up on 3 different shows based on less than 5 minutes of viewing. How the heck did you make it to season 7 of Clone Wars if you thought the previous 6 seasons were cheap and terrible?

It's been all of 5 minutes, and you've determined all 3 shows I mentioned are shit? Man, anyone who gave Clone Wars a similar amount of attention in season 1 would've never given it a second chance.

Just about anything done by studios WIT, MAPPA, or Trigger. Watching Vinland Saga right now, I'd say that's pretty high quality. More recently Spy X Family has great production values, as does Chainsaw Man.

The quality really depends on the studio doing the animation, some of it's actually pretty high quality.

Because Japan still had a weekly release. Basically Japanese watchers could be up to episode 9, while fans overseas still wouldn't be able to watch a single episode until after episode 12 had come out.

I think it works well for people that want to try out a variety of games, or for games that you think you'll likely only play once.
Now for anything longer or games that will likely get replayed multiple times, owning is probably preferable.

Especially if you like other FF games it's a pretty fun game. The main story line in Final Fantasy XIV is one of the better Final Fantasy stories, and the atmosphere and characters are both fantastic.
As others mentioned the first part of the game, A Realm Reborn, is the weakest part of the game. If you can get to Heavensward the game picks up from there.

Ah man, I have so many good Osaka memories. Sometimes when I'd be doing bar crawls with friends we'd end up just heading to a Lawson's and loading up on snacks and alcohol, and then we'd chill by the Dotonbori.
But yeah, convenience stores and fast food restaurants are such an experience there. They're always clean and bright and the people working are so cheerful.
