As a former Worcester college student, all the engineering jobs relevant to me are clustered around Boston. No way I’m sitting in traffic on the pike, even if rent is a bit cheaper. I’d love to live in Worcester, and I miss the huge number of nature trails and paths, but it just isn’t feasible

Don’t forget the waterfall just north of tatnick sq, and Broad River Brooke that’s a mass Audubon site to the south east!

Because the other reply was a joke, just wanted to say YES. They absolutely can forbid you use or possess weed on the premises.
Defacto most probs won’t give a shit unless it becomes a “problem”, but the threat is always there. Also, not all things in the lease may be “legal” per se, but landlords have lawyers, renters typically don’t

I heard some chatter about a noncooperative suspect being brought down an elevator who was yelling, assuming this is the same person? if so it sounds like it's been deescalated?

Just heard from someone locked in at say Massart it's an active shooter situation? Anyone have more info?
edit: "if anyone is coming out of their rooms, tell them to stay in until the building is secure"
"excellent job by everyone, lets secure those floors after we cleared them, thanks for the help"
Sounds like it's all set or will be soon
edit 2: "all clear to open up the floors and the perimeter"
sounds like its all over

Sorta unrelated, but I found myself saying “sorry about that” as a courtesy in work related emails. Like, “oh sorry about that, seems there’s been a miscommunication and…”
I started rephrasing it to thank you. Like “Oh thanks for catching that! Much appreciated”
It’s a really small thing, but a “sorry” sorta puts the onus on the person to give you forgiveness. A “thanks” shows that you appreciate the effort they put it.
Giving a legitimate thank you every now and then to someone, more than just “thanks”, can actually have a huge effect
