Lots of people are saying never drink again. But the mind is complex, and this is a part of yourself. Not drinking wont fix anything. But self reflection and therapy might. Id actually recommend thinking through yourself and your problems awhile and then drink again, but alone and in moderation to see how it goes. Rinse and repeat until you feel you've made good progress and then drink lightly with others.

If your parents are ghosting you over just this, they've probably been horrible to you for a long time. It can be hard to move on, but once you accept that as your course of action, it will be easier to make advances with it

It makes a heavier, thicker sandwich in my experience. Pairs well with noticable flavors and textures - goat cheese I think works well, traditional BLT can work well, avocado. But the pizza bread can turn out pretty thick, so make sure you have enough filling inside to balance that out.
