You should also look at townhome rentals. When we first moved here a few years ago, we rented a 3BR townhome with garage in West Broad Village for the same as what 2BR apartments in the area were listed.

I like the forward thinking for a likely more car-less future. While far from perfect, I appreciate the investment the county is making in pedestrian and bike transportation (pathways, crossings, lower speed limits, etc.).
