There is a typing point. Like a bridge you can only put so much weight before it collapses. If nothing changes then to me where not that far from collapse.

It's about no longer needing them. Today chat gtp still can't fact check. So you still need a person to find out.

But being a world dictator is not an economic problem. Living in a simulation is the best why to achieve this.

But if I could have an AI that can entertain me better than anyone then why would I want to interact with anyone else?

I think op should go to college for a better knowledge, not for better pay. It should be knowledge focused not money.

I agree somewhat but these things don't come out of nowhere. So you can't know for certain but you can still see hints and clues as it's going to happen.

Today's AI although impressive are still quite limiting . Once it can fix fact checking and make a 200,000 or more words story consistently and generate any type of content consistently I will quit soical media.

Helpful no doubt but not needed. A changed economy would do it. One example to sustain post scarcity without nanofabricators is to limit the amount that an individual can request. So imagine that on your app or when you go eat at a restaurant imagine instead of say it cost 5 dollars it says 5 daily. Meaning you can only get that item 5 times a day.

But like anything that is excessive can be harmful. Having unlimited empathy, willpower , and being completely rational all have pros and cons. There was a study I believe in which people who felt little to no emotion had a hard time deciding on anything. Because everything is more or less just as valuable as everything else. The only thing keeping them alive is survival driven.
