Amazing outstanding acting but rushed season and as a result most if not all characters are underdeveloped and I feel like the audience can barely get invested in most of them. The best episodes 7 and 8 where episodes when it showed down and just spend time with the characters with things happening slower to get the adueince to know them and their relationships.

Exactly. I think out of all adult and young characters we really only know like 5 of them and even them have been either inconsistent, one note or passive or Viserys .The rest barely got anything. At this point it feels more like a plot driven show imo to get to the mentioned moments in the dance/lead up to it than a chracter driven drama and I put this on the writers not being able to fill in the gaps with a lot of new scenes and small inside the episode arcs btw the more significant moments.

Nielson only counts the streams from TV's if I'm not wrong and not even all of them. Anything on mobile or notebooks isn't being counted in their data , not to mention HBO own views which are 2m viewers I think? That's 120m minutes watched missing that we know off and everything mobile. I wager everything combined leads to HoD having way higher numbers
