I haven't any issues with quality. Also I want to mention the base price for a salad is currently $11.50

Reply to In Columbia, the AMC Columbia 14 theater offers open captions (on-screen subtitles). by tunicsandleggimgs15
I've seen this in the listing of showtimes and applaud their inclusivity.
I also really like that theatre because of all the advance ordering you can do – tickets, seats, and even food. I will mention that the concessions counter is usually delayed/backed up by several minutes so keep that in mind when selecting a pickup time.

Second Edition Books is off Dobbin: (410) 730-0050 https://maps.app.goo.gl/VnFFmS4hEjxy3HmC9?g_st=ic
I believe the library accepts donations as well, if you want to consider that option.

Reply to Columbia vs Ellicott City? by BalancingAct247
I love living in Columbia and would easily recommend it. So much is convenient because the area has been thoughtfully developed. Columbia Association maintains TONS of open space. Columbia is family friendly, diverse, and often recognized as a great place to live. I'd say it's a great place to raise children.
Others have commented about the CA fees in Columbia. Not all Columbia addresses pay this fee (we call those out parcels). Some addresses in Ellicott City do in fact pay this fee. I find the fee to be reasonable and have it escrowed with my mortgage. If you are going to rent rather than own, this fee won't mean much/anything to you.

Reply to comment by SheerLunacy in Didn’t there used to be two Staples close together (Columbia Crossing & Snowden Square)? by [deleted]
Office Max was over at Gateway Overlook but has been closed for a while and is now an Aldi.
The Staples location at Columbia Crossing is now Home Sense. The other Staples location at Snowden Square is still open.
Big Lots was also in Columbia Crossing but on the other side near JoAnn Fabrics. However, I noticed this past weekend that it is now closed.

I recommend Cozy Cafe in old Ellicott City specifically for the coffee flight. It's the only coffee flight I'm aware of in HoCo

You know what? I initially read the statement "Howard County Public Schools in Columbia, Maryland" as the location of the Board of Ed or something. But I just looked it up and Board of Ed is in Ellicott City. So I'm not fully understanding this statement.
My overall understanding is that they mean HoCo as a whole and not specifically the schools in Columbia

Niche based its ranking on a weighted index of several measures, including self-reported standardized test scores, parent and student surveys, extracurricular activities, and indicators of teacher quality.

Yeah I've been watching the construction for a while now. I canNOT understand how Starbucks will have a drive thru window unless they're going to occupy some additional space in the building around back maybe? I'm so confused
