Reply to NJ to Orlando. Rt 78 to 81 to 77 to 26 to 95. or 95 all the way? leaving early Thursday morning. by No_Appointment_1686
Depends on where in NJ you are coming from, 78 is a more of a safer gamble for less traffic during normal times, No clue what X mad traffic looks like. Google maps and Waze are your friend tomorrow.
Best of luck, be safe, if others find this and are looking there is a good dog friendly hotel in Fredericksburg, VA that has some ok food options. I use it as a half ish way stop to my folks in SC.

Reply to Proposed legislation would allow NJ's advanced practice nurses prescribe without a doctor’s oversight: Proposal would cement a change that began with pandemic; some doctors are strongly opposed by rollotomasi07071
I see a lot of people apposed to this, but I wonder if there is a middle ground where there is a subset of things that are ok, like refills for non-controlled substances, meds to treat common things like flu, cold, and allergies.
That might gain some safer efficiencies with out all the danger everyone is rightfully bringing up.

It gets a lot of hate because of the college kids, half the downtown they avoid though. There is also a not great part of town there which is between one of the college parts and the more professional hang out down town.
I live across the river in highland park and go to New Brunswick all the time. It is fine, it has bars and restaurants, an escape room, a smash shot place, but you will need a car 1000%.
You aren’t going to get everything in a downtown ticket in NJ, make sure you look at a wider area around where you are thinking of living. It has to be more than just a down town. Good luck! And when you get here make sure to check out other areas!

Reply to Going on a date tomorrow near East Brunswick area and I am not very familiar with the area. What are some great restaurants/activities to do there? by abdul_bino
I see people saying New Brunswick over East Brunswick, but it also depends how n the crowed you are looking for. East Brunswick is more professional and older crowd mixed in, New Brunswick you will get a professional and younger crowd mixed in.
Fresco (Steak and Seafood) and Rice Factory (Thai) are good restaurants at the edge of East Brunswick.
In New Brunswick you will want to be around George St for example he non-college crowd, Easton Ave is more college crowd focused.
In East Brunswick it will be all paid for things like a bar or a park that closes at sundown. In New Brunswick you can walk around campus like Voorhees mall and Old Queens (next to each other and close to both Easton ave and George st. There is Stress Factory (comedy club) but that needs tickets in advance and has a two item per person requirement. There is also an escape room too.
Hope this helps, good luck on your date, if you give more info on what you are looking for in activities afterwards people will speak up more.
