They keep saying "save our democracy". That sounds like a democracy to me.

It's actually nothing like the electoral college. There are more counties represented in comparison to population.

Let's just tally all the counties. "How much of this country wants those people to represnt them?" Counties are a great representation of your community and where you live and operate and pay taxes. So if your county has a majority one way...then that gets tallied to the one of two sides. The party/candidate with the most counties wins.

That's how you sell the news today. Doom and gloom. No one cares when things are going good, until it isn't.

When I went to college in central PA there were no sorority houses, only fraternity houses. When I asked why I was told because it was a "brothel law". I didn't know what that meant until it was dumbed down to "whore house law". Oh.

There was a news story about something similar in anothee state/jurisdiction. They claimed the car was inoperable because the tires were flat. They owner held a hearing at the local councel or something, he won.
