I just moved out of Fairhaven Heights and it's not bad. I lived near the water though and a lot of houses there are renovated or new construction so it's nicer. I never felt unsafe walking my dog after work at 12am around the grand bridge area. I'm a 28m for reference.

Just make sure your building doesn't flood regulary, I moved out because my buildings basement was moldy af and I could smell it regularly on the top floor if it was bad.

Even with a car there are not a lot of quality gyms at a decent price in this area for some reason. I lived in Fairhaven Heights and getting to either the edge in Hamden or Orange was a pain of a commute, and the closest gym is PF which is not the gym I'm looking for.

Man our street flooded during the storm the other day and knocked out my water heater. Been without hot water for days 😭 I tried getting the pilot up but I think it's water logged, it won't reignite
