Reply to comment by Dramatic_Mechanic815 in Eversource customers could face another rate hike as utility tries to lock in new contract by netnothing
Every six month Eversource forecasts how much power they’ll need to buy to supply their customers. They then put a bid out for that amount. Power producers send in their bids. This latest cycle produced “very few” bids so they are saying that people need to prepare for prices to go up. There are challenges to producing power in the winter so my understanding is that producers charge more during these months.

In the constitution it just says the house will have the right to decide who is seated. If you search for the word “elect” you’ll find it. It’s just one line. I assume there is case laws that builds out from there.

Reply to French towns in the Northeast? by wojtekthesoldierbear
It’s unfortunately slowly dying as the population ages, but Berlin, NH used to have its own French dialect. You’d still probably be able to speak some outside a church service, but it used to be far more prevalent. I think that’s going to be the case for a lot of New England towns.
