All the Zayre locations had closed by 1990 (before I started driving) but I don't remember any having a gas station attached. Was that a thing in MA?

I agree, it’s a fantastic museum. Officially it’s supposed to be floating, but it will often be settled in the muck at the bottom of the river…unlike the USS Kidd, which is out of the water completely due to the level of the Mississippi River.

It’s expensive, but Codzilla was legitimately a lot of fun. Likewise the Liberty Fleet of tall ships next to the Aquarium. They’re great to just hang out and lazily cruise around the harbor for a couple hours.
