What species is that? There are several plants that blossom in the midst of winter

Love this photo but beginning of Februar is usually still in the midst of winter. Global warming and warmer weather obviously has an impact on that but I think you could have loads of snow within 2 weeks.

This is too much colour editing done here if you ask me. The blacks have way too much of a green tint that looks really unnatural on those pine stems and the overall whitebalance is too much in the pinks. Just less colour overall would help this a great deal.

This is really great! I'm not sure because of the fog which makes it always a bit hard to judge but i think you went a bit overboard on the editing. Do you mind sharing the straight out of camera picture?

I don't know anything about this specific case but wildfires generally are very normal and actually necessary for a forest's ecosystem in many places. In many parts of the Rockies for instance they are important for biodiversity and the carbon cycle.
Obviously that's dependent on frequency and impact and the current trend is leaning towards too many and too devestating due to climate change and human impact in general. Just wanted to give the perspective that fire and the death of shrubs and bushes (which are mostly affected in natural fires) isn't really a bad thing, for those who don't know - like me up until recently when this was lectured in my class.

Do southeners post their photos in a half a year long delay to fit in with northeners and their pictures of the current season in the northern hemisphere? 🤔

You're basically on the verge of death by substance abuse, deal with it. You're a horrible person with a problem there's no fix for. /s
