Dumping in dover. Started snowing around 6 am. My guess is 2-3 inches now. Wet heavy bs snow. The kind no one likes to play in.

Nb born and raised. My dad still lives there. Anyone in nb knows storms like this always hit nb harder than g town or Milford due to the valley. We guessed 20-25 last night. The tractor will be getting a workout moving snow today!

Me! Always have my whole life. Had houses in New Boston, goffstown, dunbarton, and now in dover with a wood stove. Cut, split and staked two cords myself and bought another three cords. Heat is set at 55 as a back up. As I write this with a small fire going right now my house is 71. When I get the stove cranking it can be 84 in here while it’s 5 degrees outside. It’s pretty wild

End of May or June - October. March and April are 30-49 and gray/rainy. I don’t mind mud season honestly but 90% of people hate it/strongly dislike.

Reply to I'm moving out to New Hampshire for university, what do you guys think is the best part of living in the state, and what's the worst? by Henry_Privette
What college are you going to? Former college student here. Loved my college days experience here (went to UNH in Durham). Been to all the schools once or twice including Dartmouth. People are surprisingly friendly but also don’t take offense if people just walk fast and ignore you. NH does well at being friendly but respecting your neighbors privacy if that makes sense. People are pretty punctual out here. As others said our summers are world famous and our winters are infamous.
You’re going to need a car at some point to really enjoy the state/New England as a whole. I couldn’t have a car freshman year but did sophomore year on.
Good luck my friend welcome to the 603!
