So If I understand you right, the satellites dont sit stationary on the exact point.
Instead they orbit around the point, and thats possible because there is a circle (ellipse?) you can draw around the Earth-Sun L2 point that is equipotential, due to the radially symmetric pull of the Earth-Sun (if radius is defined as a perpendicular to an axis straight through the Earth and Sun)

The writing is captivating and quite creepy. But trying to understand the theme, is it that the "hero" with such a power eventually goes psycho?
Or that there is no way to use/obtain such power without being psycho in the first place?
Having said that, are you taking the stance that killing 1 person to save many is not morally correct? Cause it seems to be put in a negative light

Its not just calibration, a lot of monitor cannot physically reproduce even the metameric equivalent of the color. The gamut is just not there
