There's a long list of acceptable documents and if you still don't have any of those you can get a free voter ID. If you do t have the ability to figure out how to get a voter ID you probably can't figure out how to vote either.

RI has reasonable bipartisan approved voter ID laws.

If there is no early termination clause it means you are beholden to the lease through the end of it. The landlord has an obligation tp mitigate his damages though, so once he gets it re-rented you stop owing rent.

No. We are giving them $29 million off of taxes owed on the value of the building after renovation, which still results is higher revenue than what is being received now. Think of it as 50% of $1 rather than 100% of 25 cents.

I participate in PowerBall pools at work because if I was the only one to come into work after everyone else became a millionaire I don't think I could take it.

When my wife worked at Mass General she drove to quincy Adam's and took the red line in.

obviously not all, I shouldn't have said that. Naturally where you have windows and such it will be blocked. But if you go up into the attic or down to the basement and shine a light often you can see all the way up and down. a lot of times if there has been a substantial rehab of the building you will see blocking has been installed but a lot of times work on these old buildings a permit is never pulled and they don't do the work up to code.

Many have had fire stops put in during renovations, the multifamily I own drilling through the masonry was quite a bitch to run a new wire. Not that uncommon to be able to shine a flashlight up from the basement to the attic though. It sounds like you are a tradesman so I'm sure you've seen lots of walls but a lot of the multi-families I've gone into are basically maintained only to the point of passing section 8 standards and the slumlord landlords don't hire proper pros when doing work.

I can tell you first hand that much of the housing stock in Providence predates that and was never updated.

If it's balloon frame like many of the 2.5/3 story buildings in this city are you don't need access to the first floor at all the stud bays run from the basement to the attic.

If it's balloon frame construction it would be relatively easy to do yourself.

Providence has a system set up where Providence Center social workers ride with Providence Police officers in a patrol car, Providence Fire also has a mental health response car on during days. Either way you call 911, PD secures the scene, dispatch send the appropriate response.

Call 911, anybody with a weapon the police need to secure the scene. The police also have a couple of social workers from the Providence center that ride around with them in a few of the patrol cars. Anyone else you call will end up backing up when they see the knife and calling for PD always, so all you would be doing is delaying them getting help and increasing the chance of them or someone else getting hurt.
