Keep a bucket of dirt nearby and apply as needed. Salt melts ice and then it just refreezes- and if you have porcs in your area they will definitely sniff out the salt and start hammering away on your stairs in the middle of the night. Been there.

I'm in Irasburg with verizon and get little to no coverage. I have to hike up to the top of the mountain I live on if I want to make a call lol.

I'm in Irasburg and have never had a problem with the all-seasons on my Crosstrek. I live on a class 4 road up the side of mountain and spend a lot of time at Jay Peak.
