The very first magnolias are starting bloom in Boston proper, and the public garden will probably be popping in early-mid April. Arboretum maybe slightly behind that.

Reply to comment by sleepydorian in Sorry for the million posts! The RMV has postponed my license suspension for 60 days while they "investigate." Thanks u/SchminksMcGee for suggesting contacting the local news, it's working! And they're digging into the craziness of anyone who drives in MA for 30 days being required to dual-register. by bostonshopper
Can't they see if a vehicle has a valid permit when they enter the license plate #? I feel like that's how they get people who have moved to another city but have a not-yet-expired resident sticker.

My school would've still required you to be in homeroom at 7:20am and sit through two study halls in a row.

I came across a listing like that, and wasn't shocked until I saw where it was - right around the corner from Harvard Law. Maybe get to know the neighborhood and demographics before buying property there?

I lived in an oil heat apartment until recently, and it cost a fortune to heat and half of it never really warmed up due to crappy baseboards and lack of insulation. But the rent was below market rate, which was great for 6-8 months of the year.

There's also one in Medford (just north of the city), one near Worcester, and another one in the northern suburbs (Burlington I think).

I think the Lynn extension would benefit the most people. And I'm not sure how many Red Line riders would prefer to connect the Blue at MGH to reach the airport (which then requires a bus connection), when they can go up a flight of stairs in South Station and hop on the Silver Line.

RCN, 100mps for $182 (with minimal tv package that's pretty much 2-4-5-7-25 and $22 for HBO). It's a scam how much they arbitrarily jack up prices with no increase in service. Started at like $75/mo a few years ago.

There's one on Route 7 in Pownal VT, less than a mile from the MA border in Williamstown.

You could limit the number of signs allowed in any one area - after all, the blueberry people and the bait people aren't going to have more than a few signs. Same for yard sales, charity events, etc.

Same here. With year-round standard time, the sun would set before 7pm except for a short window in June and July. Post-8pm sunsets are one of the nicest parts of summer in New England.

Friday after 1pm used to be some of the worst of the week, between people ending the work week early, and people arriving in the city to play.
Tuesday's probably the worst now.

It should take more than an "anonymous tip" from an annoyed neighbor to set such a process in motion. And it should be easy to dismiss such a claim online by showing proof of out of state residency.
