Hello hi yes I lived in Hampden for over a decade, even owning for 7 years, and last year when moving out of the starter home we were priced out of Hampden (or more like that decent 1200 sq ft house is not worth $375k. Sorry).

As everyone else is saying: if you can stomach the cost, go with Amtrak. It's literally one hour door to door. A bus is half the cost but twice as long

The issue is also the lack of a civic/municipal workforce that doesnt eat its young. Look no further than the DOT for an example.
