Reply to Opinions on potential rent: is 4500 before utilities too much for new construction, 3b 1.5ba, 1 car garage, quiet st in great neighborhood (central Lawrenceville) too much? What is your estimate on utilities (heat and electricity) for such a size? New to town here, would love your input. by prenzlauerallee3

Reply to What can I do about a nuisance light? by [deleted]
There should be a shroud on the lights to keep horizontal light pollution to a minimum. No need to light up the sky, should be reflected downwards…. Should be an easy fix for them if they feel like being a good neighbor….

Grew up in Beaver, moved away 2 years ago before the plant was operational. When I was home visiting family I couldn’t believe the haze, and the smell in the air. Unbelievable. 25 years of living there and never experienced anything like this. Locals were 50/50 on if they noticed it. But my fiancé and I sure did… very sad.

Came here to say this and glad it was said. Most of these houses were built for WW2 steel mill workers. Houses under 200k are going to need so serious work.
