fyi I was able to replace a dishwasher inlet valve on the cheap by ordering the part myself, might be worth the effort next time around.

Yup. When you work with so many kids, sometimes you mess up their names or pronouns. And it isn't a big deal to correct yourself and move on. The people who are upset about the "pronoun war" or whatever tf are so out of touch

I do! But I'm the only person I know who does. Barefooters are tough we don't need heated floors

Ah, I misread your original post. If you want to get the soldering done by someone else, you'll have to go elsewhere. Microcenter carries a nice variety of tools for doing it yourself. I recommend giving it a try if you're up for it, it's a lot of fun and very rewarding!

It's a fun place, and they have a whole DIY section with microcontrollers, soldering tools, components, etc.
I reckon it's a 25-30 min drive from Arlington, IIRC

Oof, yeah I've heard some dishwashers can be a lot harder to repair yourself. Good luck resolving its latest error!
