No, but it has been on my list of places to visit for a while since the covid restrictions let up. Thanks for reminding me.

Yeah, I was just adding on more greenery. :) Sad that the ny times has to resort to clickbaity titles like this, but I can see why.

Well barbecue comes from some carribean natives originally, plus there is korean barbecue, south african braai, etc. it's certainly very popular in america, but a bit more widespread than cheese grits and rhubarb pie :)

Yeah. That's a scary thing a lot of people don't realize. A lady died in my city when a radio show had a contest to drink a bunch of water quickly. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_intoxication

I guess I was conflating it a bit with defense attorneys that have to defend the client regardless of what they believe the truth is. But I am struggling with your line of reasoning that the prosecutor has to believe they are guilty beyond reasonable doubt to even argue the case. If they are unsure, wouldn't it make sense to have a trial to get to the truth - or as close as possible?

Am I missing something? He is acting as the jury himself?
> Mr. Bragg does not have the power to dismiss the indictment himself. He recommended that the judge do so
At least he is not pretending to be the judge, also.

I went to central park and it was nice, but I can't help but whine about all of the people that feel they are above the rules:
- People smoking weed or tobacco. And not even out of the way areas but main thoroughfares.
- A guy using an amplifier in the "quiet zone" of Strawberry Fields right next to the imagine mosaic (and the sign which says it's a "quiet zone".)
- A lady with two dogs off leash in the Ramble (I joked about confronting her in the hopes that she'd lose her job like that other lady doing the same thing.)
- A guy riding a scooter(a motorcyclish one, not a standing one) on Bethesda Terrace near the fountain and blasting music.
But try and put up an open-sided tent(like at farmer's/flea market) for a gathering and the rangers will be on you in a minute. hah.

Including 18 year olds as children is a bit odd. I wonder what portion they are.
wow. Using your source of https://cdan.dot.gov/query
40%(4/10) on 2020-10-31, 50%(1/2) on 2019-10-31 were 18.
21%(39/186) of the total from 2006 to 2020 halloweens.
Did you intentionally do that to inflate the numbers by including legal adults in your definition of children? Why?

I put a suggestion in a few months ago and got a reply after 3 months saying: "NYC Parks will inspect the site to determine if it is suitable for a new street tree, including a review of potential conflicts with other infrastructure. If the site is found to be suitable, a tree will be planted during the next available planting season."
and
"The next update is due within 365 days"
(I'm also amused at 720 days, someone failed at multiplying 365 times 2? :D )

It was more that early game moves that were not very optimal were fashionable in that time. Like early, dramatic sacrifices.
