Old dark house. If you want to limit it to sci-fi, I guess you could add that to the description.

Yup. That was half the point. (Although I think it has a good chance of being correct for OP based solely on the movies listed, anyway.)

Glad to see you had this epiphany. I’ve been a huge reader since I was a kid. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of waking up early and having the house to myself and just reading for a few hours in peace. I still read whenever I have any downtime, at home or even if I’m out somewhere. I can’t really imagine my life without books.

Reply to Why do most MCU movies have the villain just be an evil version of the main hero in the first film? by Average_Ant_Games
It’s not true for most MCU movies… and, for the ones where it is true, they’re based off the comics. It’s long been a comic book trope that the best villains are just evil mirrors of the hero.

I’m aware. I watched this in the theatre when it came out, and numerous times since. It intentionally has the feel of a B movie. That’s part of its charm; it did that on a decent budget. Hence, why I described it that way.

One of the best high profile “B movies” ever, IMO. For what it is, it’s perfectly made.
