Use vedur.is to check the weather:Aurora forecast: https://en.vedur.is/weather/forecasts/aurora/. anything => kp3 is interesting. If you get to >kp5, be ready to not sleep to be in a clear spot, to enjoy as much as possible. If you are up north, even a kp1 can provide good auroras.
And if possible keep some night without hotes (so you can book last minute to get to be at a location with clear sky).
Good luck ! March is usually amazing for auroras!

Gigantic Solar storms (G2 Solar storm)
It's hard to put into words just how breathtaking it was to witness the auroras during a G2 solar storm in Iceland. This photo near Hofn speaks for itself - the vibrant colors of the Northern Lights, the towering mountain, and the calm waters come together to create a truly unforgettable scene.
G2 solar storms are usually relatively rare, but they've been more frequent this year due to the sun hitting solar maxima.
I took this photo using my Sony A7 IV camera with a 14mm f1.8 lens, the storm was so strong that it caused the cell phone reception to drop for few minutes.
Let me know if you hare any question

Happy thursday/friday all :)
This view was taken on my way back from going to the rim of this volcano.(it is actually quite safe, trust me :)
This volcano - called Yasur volcano - is located in Vanuatu (on an Island called Tanna). It is currently one of the longest erupting stratovolcano (if not potentially the longest). Some fun facts:
- The glow of the volcano attracted Captain James Cook on the first European journey to the island in 1774. It is said that he tried to hike the volcano, without success.
- The mountain is a sacred area for the John Frum cargo cult. Members of the cult revere John Frum, a WWII messenger who is said to be bringing a mountain of wealth to the island by American forces. They believe he resides in Mount Yasur with his countrymen.
I have taken this photo using the following: Fujifilm GFX50s with ultrawide angle lens (23mm).
Hope you enjoy this photo. I also posted few month back a video of my drone flying on top of it, in case somebody is interested to see the chaos it can produce. (e.g. view from my drone (e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/nextfuckinglevel/comments/malfpo/the_day_a_volcano_almost_ate_my_drone/)
Let me know if you have any other question

Higher likelyhood in mid sept (~22th) and mid march (~20th). It's because earth in front of several large sun spots.
