Not only that but Google maps seems to work for the turnpike. One has to check the directions to find out that you are paying tolls just to save a few minutes.

Old man chimes in. Fifty some years ago it seemed like everyone knew that if you had the green on Fifth Avenue in Oakland, you could drive at 27 mph and probably not get a red. Is that still true?

MAC won the battle but lost the war. MAC's policy was no fees for using ATMs. MAC became the most popular card. Then they were bought out by the big banks and that's why you now have fees for using an ATM.

Vodka pasta sauce is a modern concoction (70s), nobody is sure from where. NYC and Italy both make claims. The branding is of course just marketing. I might give it a try.
