Easy: Santa is illusive. You teach that DNA tests require a sample to match it to, so they'll hold onto her request, but unfortunately have to wait until they aquire a sample from Santa to match it to.

Now if she gets wise and says "ok, try to match it to a sample from my dad," that could get a bit trickier

I REALLY want a steam controller 2. I got the original one when it became free, and I still thought it sucked. Uncomfortable, and the shoulder buttons were laughable and how cheap they felt. It would be so cool to have them make a second revision with all the stuff they've learned from making the SteamDeck.

It was weird for me. My class read the book after the movie trailers started airing, and they made it look like it was going to be another Narnia. I was pretty disappointed that it seemed to be about two kids just playing pretend in the woods. The story ended up being pretty good and the ending sad, but because I went in with different expectations it kind of took me out of it.

Just got an alert this afternoon that a band I've always wanted to see was coming to town. Worst seats in the house were over $100, and they're not even that big of a band, nor playing at a huge venue. Ticketmaster can suck it

Some of these are really wrong. "OBS is an open source alternative to Adobe Premiere Pro," the fuck? Like saying parmesan cheese is an alternative to a hamburger. Not even close to the use cases for either software.

EDIT: It also appears that it's recommending open source alternatives to other open source software. It lists "BundleJS," as an open source alternative to Webpack and Rollup which are both MIT licensed to begin with, yet neither of those are actually listed on the site anywhere.
