It's a very tame area. There might be some redback spiders under logs and an occasional snake but it's basically as safe as just about anywhere for a casual walk. It's a very lovely and serene place really.

Because they want to charge twice for the same bandwidth - once to their customers and secondly to hold rich tech giants to ransom over providing service to them.

Leaning into the right wing narrative I see. There's little to no evidence that supports the assertion that rescuing people results in worse outcomes. To say otherwise is simply justifying callousness to the plight of these refugees.
