I'm fairly knowledgeable about firearms, I had to look up what the fuck a Sampiyon-Panzer shotgun is.. ha lame.
Seriously folk need to secure thier shit far better than this, leave it to the gun gym bro to have thier gun not skip leg day and walk off. A locked glove box is not adequate at all for this task.
The gun owner should be liable for any damage caused with the guns now.
If someone steals your car are you willing to cough up the money for damages caused with your car?
Your insurance company does, via your liability policy. If the damages caused exceed your policy limits, there's a real chance you can be sued for the amount in excess.
Carry on! Right next to the Dont Tread on Me! #IamVeryBadAss
That’s some good dope you smokin
I mean, your insurer will tell you the same thing. Damages caused by your stolen vehicle are covered by your liability insurance.
That $25k/$50k coverage minimum isn't looking so hot anymore, is it?
That’s why ya gotta get an umbrella for when it rains it pours
Should be CSMG, “Come steal my gun”. No idea what possesses people to advertise that they are carrying
You really think it was even locked?
If I was a bad guy looking for a gun or ammo that’s the cars I’d hit.
Where did you get that info? Usually insurance only covers permissive drivers. Every policy in CT includes an uninsured/underinsured policy though that covers you if the other guy doesn’t have insurance.
Fuck no.. guy was probably saying that just so they really don’t throw the book at him for improper storage.
Gotta love these responsible gun owners.
If my car has a turret mounted machine gun on it, yes that’s fair.
be careful out there friends !
Guns =/= cars.
>[T]he owner's duty, as in other similar situations, to provide against resulting injuries is a function of three variables: (1) The probability that she will break away; (2) the gravity of the resulting injury, if she does; (3) the burden of adequate precautions.

This is just a useful construct for understanding reasonableness.
The issue with guns is that second factor, and to a lesser extent the third.
If someone steals your car, they're likely to go for a joyride or sell it. If someone steals your guns, they're likely to end someone's life with it.

If you're cold they're cold, bring your guns in the house.
