A stud finder wouldn’t have made any difference here, the cabinet has two fixing points. If it’s mounted central to the sink those brackets are nowhere near any studs you can hear that by knocking.

All a stud finder is going to do is tell me where the studs are that I can’t mount to.

And given that this is the only cabinet I’ve ever had to or ever will mount to a semi external wall like this there’s no point spending money on one

From all the posts here it sounds like you are more interested in justifying your mistake instead of learning the way to do. You have a custom application and need a custom solution and do not have the skill set it seems.

It’s not a custom application it’s supposedly how all flats are built
