One of the coolest facts I've learned about the Snake River Valley is that it was actually formed by the ancient pathway of the super volcano that now resides under Yellowstone. Took several millions of years of tectonic shift but somehow seeing the path makes it a little more easy to comprehend.

Beautiful picture btw!

My sister, cousins and I used to float down Henry's Fork on inner tubes when we were kids. Such great memories.

I kayaked that section just last year. Left early, so I was the only one on the river till I got close to the bridge. Too much fun.
