Reddit: "Here's one tiny little thing you overlooked, phew now I'm depressed and can blame something else and go back to wasting my time on reddit guilt-free!"

So many of the comments on getmotivated can be boiled down to "AND HERES WHY THIS ONE DOESNT APPLY TO ME TOO". It defeats the point of joining a getmotivated sub if you're not gonna play along. Like yeah, most of the motivation is kinda vague and holding up exceptional examples, but motivation is already a fickle and fleeting thing, on a certain level you've just got to play along and not think too hard.

Yeah, not all the posts will fit any given individual, but I feel like the least getmotivated thing you can do is go into the comments on posts like these and explain precisely why they're crap.

This one for example, is just "it's not too late, heres some examples of people doing big things at all ages" and people are taking offence that THEY couldn't start a billion dollar company at 40 so therefore the message is garbage. Stop taking it literally, it's just "its not too late".

Edit: I'm not defending this post, it's not exactly amazing. But it's depressing how almost every single comment section on this sub is "nah doesn't apply" "ugh you used a bad example, back to scrolling and fapping myself to death"

I joined this sub a week or two ago and am astounded at the amount of negativity in here. Thought it would be a sub of people motivating each other, but the comments just try to look for problems and try to put everything down. Why would you join a motivation sub to spread negativity? It makes no sense to me. It seems that when some people feel bad or have a negative view of life, they just try to impose how they themselves feel on others.

Next time please don't attack people wo feel bad, who just want to discuss their struggle to be motivated. I feel your comment offend me but I see your emotions too so removed my original comment for others like you. But I see the things you said are for you also,as you attacking people about attacking ideas and breaking taboo/not behaving with honesty, and discussion level just crashed down.

Some of Posts arent so biased, in my original comment I said that they showing only people with wealth after 30y old so if one not have money then, they "can't" be successful - it could be colleraton, but was supposed by this chart.

You could see many other good motivating things here but if you say "there is so much people demotivating me and I hate them" then you required to be always motivated by others and it's your problem! You required to leech some time from others and not got it so are frustrated, and it's only your problem.

Maybe I am biased cause I had really bad 3 last year's and recap it this month, but I sometimes feel like I have depression, and just want to waste it as I not feel anything would, could be better. Recapping shows me also that mistakes I made was because I believed some people who told me I could believe, were about to be close friends but they used me and are piece of shits, used me mentally psychically and was agressive to me, including telling other's untrue about me and hitting my body.

Hope that would get you motivated enough next time to not shout out to people for your own dilemmas, not provided "untrue" picture and making people only say what you wanted to say

yeah, you get it.

I'm sick of Reddit's negativity when somebody tries hard to post something to make us feel better and change our lives then everybody looks for the tiniest little flaw to be demotivated again. It's disgusting, if you don't want motivation go somewhere else. If you want to defend your right to free speech on criticising the OP's post thats fine, but don't get your panties in a twist when somebody like me decides to use their free speech to call you out lol.

Your comment isn't helping, but still you could have your own opinion and say whatever you think. Sad is that no of haters stop to hate and just try to motivate, understand. Actually, maybe you are the same, you just want to say I cannot be motivated because those dumb heads (which could be people with sanity biased, really badly hurt by life etc) would just be beaten and you are proud of that! What a heck :)

nobody is shouting at you mate. If you want to take something that was meant to be motivational and turn it into something negative then I am allowed to call you out for it.
