That was what I was alluding to. Brits sent all their rabbit poaching, bread stealing "criminals" to exile in Australia. Not a bad place to end up!

Well that depends. Back then it was an even more unforgiving wilderness. Not to mention the fact that the only "propper" way of dealing with the spiders there would be with a flame thrower or sawed off shotgun.
