The answer here may be that every musician has their individual things that are fun for them, like non-musicians. Or maybe a pattern will emerge.

Been playing for a couple decades, but I'm not a professional. It's nice to either lean into a different creative process...or to have absolutely no creative approach and just engage with a chore.

3D modeling or graphics creation are the most satisfying of my pastimes, but I also like to mow the lawn or play videogames.

Can't name names for the muggles, but I have it on good authority there are quite a few. (At least three 90's bands have a frontman who's now in other areas of performing arts - even more if you include UK bands.)
