This is a no brainer. Should have happened ages ago, along with PATH service to the airport and beyond. The PATH or the NLR could quite literally continue down McCarter to the old Raritan Valley line in Elizabeth, Roselle/Roselle Park and connect to NJ transit in Cranford, or follow the industrial line in Linden near the oil refinery and travel either to Staten Island or in the other direction towards Cranford and hit those same communities listed. This state could have much better connectivity if they would only invest in expansion.

Those are CNJ tracks not RVL , the line used to cross over the Newark Bay and terminate at Liberty State Park. I'm disappointed with the lack of movement on addressing Urban Jersey connectivity and mobility issues.... The roads are back to there pre-pandemic gridlock state and NJT has done nothing to advance the 9 proposed rail projects in the state. Even Amtrak under trump advanced hundreds of small and large projects to the point of being funded and ready to go under Biden... Why hasn't Murphy done that? And why is there a transit gap between Urban Jersey & Staten Island.
