They also have a lot of meth addicted parents who do actually commit a lot of child abuse.

Seen a lot of the country and I can’t disagree more. Probably seen less meth use in Maine than anywhere in the US. What I have seen in Maine is tight communities where the neighbors all know each other, which is why I think so many more cases are reported.

I grew up in Maine, not a lot of meth around. Heroin is more the big thing up there.

Was going to say that too. It’s largely opioids that we struggle with in New England.
