Yup I do the same, just with 1 gallon jugs. I also use them to water my plants.
Worked out well this week, at most water had been in the jugs for a week, so just poured it into my brita.

You did nothing wrong. saying good morning is not going to set her back in her language efforts. I can see the frustration with that if you ONLY talk to her in her original language when she’s trying to learn…but you said two words. She was probably just having a bad day or feeling particularly sensitive about her language skills today, but that doesn’t justify her blowing up on you like that. It’s pretty ridiculous to be so offended of someone saying two words in their language.
Don’t beat yourself up about it, and please continue going out of your way to connect with people, as it’s very nice what you’re doing. Although I would not speak to her in that language again since she requested it…even though she did it very rudely.

Idk but last summer a rental agent was saying last year was the worst he'd ever seen the market in Philly. Lots of issues leftover from covid (many different factors but one he mentioned is people are looking for different things than they were pre-covid and there just isn't enough stock for that).

It might be the worst sound I’ve heard in my life, I can never go there again, it’s just not worth paying money to not hear anything. And every single artist I like plays there when they come to Philly which is devastating

Ohh ok yah this is my guess then - people left and it resulted in you looking like you just chose a random ass spot on the block. Doesn't really justify the note but hey, notes are a good way for people to get some anger out of their system LOL

The only thing I can think of is that maybe you left too much space in front, between the other car. But I've never heard of people getting upset about that here in Philly, and you said someone fit behind you. But that is something people get upset about in places with terrible parking, as if you leave too much space then not as many cars can fit on the block. So it could be that, and the person who left the note has a long car.
Not accusing you or anything, just theorizing here

My grandma used to say this to me over 20 years ago. She watched the news and would say “there’s so much crime on TV now! There didn’t used to be back in my day, even though there’s less crime now.” She was a clever lady so she saw through that shit and never gave into fear mongering

Love a local pharmacy!! I wanna shout out Parkway Pharmacy in Fairmount. Super nice people and it’s so easy to get shots there. They even saved me from being stranded in an airport when the airline wouldn’t accept my proof of Covid test, said it had to be a PDF not a piece of paper, so I called up Parkway and they drafted up a google doc and emailed it to me as a PDF like immediately! It looked soo fake (so much less official than my piece of paper) but it worked and I didn’t have to repurchase and international flight!

We asked a coworker if he was aware of the news (as he kinda lives under a rock). He said he doesn’t drink tap water because it tastes bad. Have people never heard of water filters? I just don’t get it lol. It tastes better out of my Brita then out of most plastic water brands
