Sorry my first answer was unhelpful. After fairway left not much. Whole Foods in Daren and stew Leonard’s in Norwalk are ok. I moved up the state a bit but really do like Custom meats in Fairfield. Amazing dry aged burgers and sourced v nice pork and lamb

I wouldn’t count it as a butcher but saw stew Leonard’s had reasonable prices on dry aged steak and had meant to try it next time I make the drive. That being said I haven’t found much, usually I wind up getting a day pass at restaurant depot and butchering my own steaks. New wave seafood is a decent fishmonger if you’re looking for one of those. The new fishmonger on high ridge has good quality fish too however their prices were a little high

I go go grade A and it turns out great when I get a ny strip. Also La Marqueta has good ranchera

Via Brazil in Port Chester they have a butcher in the back. They do pre seasoned things as well always delicious excellent service.

Fusaro's on High Ridge has good meats.

Fairway was so good for awhile. I used to go there whenever I wanted a really good cut of meat or seafoood but it definitely took a turn for the worst. It was like a light switch. Past due stuff left in the shelves, cuts looked like shoprite cuts and when you opened it there was white growth all over. So gross. Not a surprise they went out of business.
