Stamford High and Westhill have no lights after sunset but they rarely lock the track. You can’t go on the track during school hours but it’s open the rest of the time. Scalzi and Cove are other options.

Stamford is relatively safe. I’ve seen people run all hours of the day. There’s also a running group that I’ve seen as well.

You could also consider looking for apartments/houses in the Glenbrook or Springdale area where you get more for your buck and you’d be near the two train stations. Springdale has a parking lot. It’s two stops right after the main Stamford stop and these areas might be better for children.

Stamford or Darien YMCA or the JCC are good options too

I understand that but in my experience with tow companies in Stamford, they will not tow it off a public street or sidewalk without the police, even on your property. I’ve had several refuse outright both at my home and my commercial building.
