Came here to say this about simjang.. that was my favorite place to eat. So sad they didn’t make it.

They closed right at the end of 2019, too. Abandoned us just before our time of need, I would've spent my whole stimmy on curbside chicken, I tell you what.

Seriously. I used to go there once a week. That place was perfection. When a place that is so incredibly good shuts down like that you have to wonder what it takes to make it in the restaurant industry. I would kill for some Korean fried chicken and bibimbap right now.

Choose & Mix has better Bibimbap than Simjang did, but then again I always hated Simjang so ymmv.

They replaced the restaurant and said simjang was moving.

It never ended up reopening.

It wasn't that they didn't make it, they wanted to do something else.

Ah okay. Every time I went it seemed like they were doing well so this makes sense. Probably smart of them to wait it out throughout the covid struggles. Hopefully they’re still planning on re-opening.
