Might be. I visited New Haven back when Pepe's and Modern were the big shots so I haven't tried Sally's yet.

There's already 3 Frank Pepe's near Boston lol

Right now I got Wooden Bar at the top of my power rankings, but Dead Horse is probably pound for pound the best in the city.
Chashu, Birch Tree, and Volturno all hit that really good but nice and casual sweet spot.
Vincent's and Coney are unironically excellent at what they do and always a good time.

What to you like to do in Ireland? We can see if any of it's available here.

That was one of the big selling points, and it's just by and large not happening. Most fans are just going to the stadium, parking, going to the game, going back in their cars, and going home.
The Sundown's patio is a particularly good spot to watch hordes of WooSox fans beeline straight to their cars without hardly noticing the open bar they're walking by.

I've enjoyed everything I've had from them, but the amount of attention they get you'd think they're running deals like "buy one large cheese pizza, get one more day with a deceased loved one."
Anyway, there is actually good pizza in Worcester. Volturno is legit Neapolitan style (Olo is also supposed to be good but I've somehow never been), and Birch Tree is a gem.

I mean correct but shouldn't that make it one of your least favorite buildings

Should be called "I Like Frankie's", it's good, especially for delivery in Worcester, but it's not really even in running for best pizza.
Deadass tastes like Papa Gino's though, so they get points for nostalgia there.

You don't need to knock down any buildings, there's already over a million square feet of parking and vacant lots on or around N Main St.

Left around 9 this morning, definitely sloppy but not too slippery. No idea where the fucking plows are, this should be a easily manageable bit of weather.

I just took a look at what Google maps has and yeah, that was when all the major construction was happening. That's all finished now, it's completely different.
Personally I think Main St is a breeze to drive on. I honestly don't even know how they could make an urban street any easier to drive on. The lanes and lights are all updated and there's a ton of well marked parking, I dunno what anyone's complaining about.
guybehindawall t1_j9g5tr1 wrote
At this point the Canal District is more of Worcester's downtown than downtown.

I think you would like the Sundown on Green St.
For Thai I like Basil and Spice on Shrewsbury St. For sushi I like Miyazawa like everyone else but also have a soft spot for Oishi downtown. Chashu and Wooden Bar for ramen, they both kick ass.
Birch Tree Bread Company has the best pizza except on Mondays and Tuesdays when Volturno runs their BOGO deals in which case Volturno has the best pizza. If you want more takeout-grade pizza I like the thin crust pizzas at Roadrunner. Frankie's is also pretty good just never post about it anywhere.

Dell'ovo's on Shrewsbury St doesn't really do any specific deals but they're usually incredibly well-priced.

The Sturbridge BT's is probably better at BBQ but the Park Ave spot's chicken sandwiches are some of the best value menu items in the entire city.

Just a lot of reviews and comments saying the walls are super thin so it's noisy and cold and the management can be hit or miss.

I mean if you're comparing Worcester to New Haven - widely regarded as the best pizza city in the country - well that's a little snobby. Have you tried Volturno or Birch Tree yet? I'm not gonna claim they're as good as Pepe's or Modern (both of which I've had in New Haven), but they're damn good fancy pizzas.
