Top is what is portrayed in the show for 2003 (the year the outbreak happened) outside of Boston. But Cumberland Farms looked like the bottom photo in 2003.

This is so much more important than anything I’ve got going on today. I say we riot until they fix it.

2003 is a long time ago for me to remember specifically what cumbies looked like then. I still see a few that look like the bottom picture and if my memory serves me correct I saw the white ones popping up around turn of century when I was graduating high school...

Howabout that bigass mountain range when it said “10 miles west of Boston”

Seriously my first thought was "wait a minute, that's not what Cumby's would have looked like in 2003..." Glad I'm not the only one.

It’s almost as if this is a fictional universe.

Watching this, I immediately felt something was off but couldn't tell what it was. Now that someone's pointed it out, I'm sure this is what got my spidey sense tingling.

I work for Cumbies facilities support, and the store on the bottom is referred to as a legacy store. Top looks to be a converted legacy store lol.

I'm sure the air pump/vacuum is broken, so at least that part is accurate.

I worked at the Cumbys in North Grafton for 3-4 years. I actually zoomed in on the picture to see if I was behind the counter before I realized the store was very similar, but not this exact one. I like the legacy stores more than the newer looking ones.

Thankfully that never happened where I worked. It was always a concern for me though because the sink where we made coffee and washed out the carafes had all its grey water pool in a tank and when there was enough of it, it was pumped out of the tank, up to the ceiling level where it traveled through the store, into the back room where it drained out into a big sink. It smelled absolutely putrid. I don’t know how it wasn’t a heath code violation.

Awesome place though. I miss working there sometimes!

At least they got the local franchise store accurately
