I am the type of person who forces himself to start something before he enjoys it, be it exercise, books, or even movies. I generally have to spend effort to continue something and not give up halfway from boredom or laziness. With that being said, sometimes I start something, get hooked and at that point I consume it like a madman. I started reading this book series once called "Ascendance of a bookworm" and I immediately got hooked, I finished the first volume in a day, something that I have never done before, I started the second volume the next day literally the moment I woke up. My addiction didn't stop and I spent the next 12 days reading all 20 volumes. At this point in my life I had never read this much. At that time, I was on break from school and college was way off, and so I spent every waking hour reading.
I sorta miss that feeling of being completely engrossed on one thing, I get distracted easily, and was looking for a similarly addictive series. I have heard only good things about Brandon Sanderson and so I started reading Mistborn sometime in the last two months. I finished with The Final Empire and The Well Of Ascension, and while I certainly did enjoy them and think the series is pretty good, I didn't consume them nearly as fast as I did when I was reading Ascendance Of A Bookworm.

Anyhow, What are some books that you consumed ridiculously fast just from sheer enjoyment?
